Well known writer lashes out at Ex-Health Sec Garin over PhilHealth controversy
New York University alumna Krizette Laureta Chu recently posted on the popular social media site, her thought on the current controversy of the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) and Department of Health.
Former Health Secretary Janette Garin is currently under fire for allegedly funneling over P10.6 billion senior citizen insurance premium from PhilHealth to fun the building of rural health centers.
Chu commented on the issue by firstly calling out Senator Risa Hontiveros whom she says was with PhilHealth during that time.
She also said that it was during this time that Garin allegedly made the transfer, that the Department of Health (DOH) purchased the Dengvaxia vaccine.
