Kiko Pangilinan Sunog sa Banat ng Isang Retired General Dahil sa Pag Kontra nito sa Duterte Government.

Retired General Abe Purungganan, let out his thought towards Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, saying that the country needs leaders who work together to make the Philippines a better place.

Purungganan said that what Pangilinan was asking the Duterte administration to fix are the problems that the opposition have created in the first place when they were in power.

While Pangilinan asked for a “strong opposition”, Purungganan said that this is not necessary because it has caused “rottenness in our government”.

He says that a strong opposition is a hindrance towards the country’s development.

"Kiko, we do not need a strong opposition. What we need are partners for nation-building. Your concept of opposition is destructive and chaotic. It has caused the rottenness in our system and government for more than 30 years. It has allowed criminal syndicates to destroy our people. It is a scheme to plunder our treasury. It sells out the country. It does not bring anything good for the country except for yourselves and for the oligarchy.

Please stop fooling our people. The issues that you wanted to be addressed by a strong opposition, were they not caused by your own political party? The China issue? Was it not caused by the ineptness and treasonous acts of the Aquino administration? How about the case of Sereno? Her appointment? Was it not done to pervert our Supreme Court to protect Hacienda Luisita? Your accusation of EJK's? Was it not to cover your partnership with drug syndicates? Did the Aquino administration not authorized the proliferation of illegal drugs in the country and turn it into a narco-state?

People are sick and tired of your opposition thing. Don't you realize that Filipinos don't want your kind of politics? Filipinos do not need your kind of democracy either. They do not want your group in government. A strong opposition to them is a stumbling block to peace, development, and progress."
